A Story of Transformation

In December 2025, something powerful began in Ibadan. What started as a simple idea, to exchange plastic waste for value quickly became a movement of hope, dignity, and opportunity for women. The Eco-Women Thrive Program was launched during the Detty Green DecemberPlastic for Food Drive, not just as an environmental intervention, but as a lifeline for women navigating economic hardship and environmental vulnerability. Today, that idea has grown into a thriving model, where plastic waste becomes a pathway to financial inclusion, climate action, and community resilience.
